We the communities suffering from private freight train operators' wheel squeal request and require you as our elected representative to stop the noise that is plaguing our lives.

- our children are affected
- our property values are affected
- our businesses are affected
- our health is affected

Now that you are the NSW Government PLEASE amend the necessary legislation/regulation to ensure the bogies on the operators' rolling stock does not screech in our homes, gardens and ears. Please remove the exemption on existing locomotives too. Please bring us in to line with South Australia, which has had great results for the people of the Adelaide Hills. Please fight off the vested coal interests in the Hunter that don't want to protect us.
